Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Presence (“Presence”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides chat automation tools for Fanvue creators. We are operated from Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By connecting your Fanvue account or using Presence, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. See also our Terms of Service.

1. Who is responsible for your data

For the purposes of applicable privacy laws, Presence is the data controller for personal data processed through Presence.

2. Scope

This policy applies to Presence at https://presence-ten.vercel.app and related services we operate. It does not cover Fanvue's own platform, which has separate policies at fanvue.com. Fans who message you on Fanvue are not Presence users; we process fan message content on your behalf as part of the service you authorize.

3. Data we collect

We collect only what we need to operate chat automation, analytics, and related creator tools.

  • Account & identity. When you sign in with Fanvue OAuth, we receive your Fanvue user identifier, handle, display name, and email (if provided by Fanvue). We never ask for your Fanvue password.
  • OAuth tokens. Access and refresh tokens that let us call the Fanvue API on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before storage.
  • Messages & chats. Inbound and outbound message text, timestamps, Fanvue message identifiers, and related metadata needed to draft, queue, approve, and send replies. We may cache recent conversation history for context.
  • Fan records. Fan handles, display names, subscription status, spend summaries, tags, notes you add, bot/takeover settings, and relationship scores derived from your Fanvue data.
  • Memories & persona. Facts extracted from conversations, your persona configuration, voice sliders, boundaries, schedule preferences, and automation rules (segments, lists, approval mode).
  • Drafts & agent output. AI-generated reply drafts, reasoning summaries, escalation flags, PPV suggestions, and delivery workflow state.
  • Vault & commerce metadata. Media identifiers, folder names, pricing metadata, and purchase signals from Fanvue, not full media files unless required for a feature you enable. We do not display explicit media in our UI.
  • Usage & technical logs. Webhook delivery records, workflow runs, error logs, and basic request metadata (timestamps, endpoints). We do not intentionally log OAuth tokens or full message bodies in application logs.

4. How we use your data

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session.
  • Read Fanvue chats, fans, insights, and vault data per the OAuth scopes you grant.
  • Generate and queue replies, and send them on your behalf when you approve or enable autopilot.
  • Personalize replies using persona settings, memories, and fan context.
  • Provide inbox, sandbox, analytics, automation, and PPV tooling.
  • Enforce safety policies (escalation, emergency stop, rate limits).
  • Improve reliability, debug errors, and prevent abuse.
  • Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
  • Bill and enforce plan limits when subscription features are enabled.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your Fanvue messages to train public foundation models. Message content may be sent to our AI provider solely to generate drafts for your account.

6. Service providers

We use trusted subprocessors under contractual safeguards:

  • Fanvue: OAuth, messaging, media, insights, and webhooks (fanvue.com).
  • Supabase: encrypted database hosting.
  • Vercel: application hosting, serverless functions, and workflow execution.
  • Vercel AI Gateway: routes AI requests to generate reply drafts. Message excerpts are sent to the configured model provider for inference only.

Data may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries where these providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. Security

  • HTTPS/TLS for all web traffic and OAuth redirect URIs.
  • OAuth 2.0 with PKCE; we never collect Fanvue passwords.
  • Fanvue tokens encrypted at rest; client secret stored server-side only.
  • Database access restricted to server-side application code (no direct browser access to creator data tables).
  • Webhook signature verification and idempotent event processing.
  • Internal access to production data limited to personnel who need it for operations or support.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Report suspected vulnerabilities to presence.fanvue@gmail.com.

8. Retention

  • Message content is retained for up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve an active dispute.
  • Memories, persona, and settings are kept while your account is active.
  • OAuth tokens are deleted when you disconnect or delete your account.
  • Aggregated analytics without personal identifiers may be kept longer.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw OAuth consent by disconnecting Presence in Fanvue or requesting account deletion.

Data copy. To request a copy of the personal data we store about you, email presence.fanvue@gmail.com from the address linked to your Fanvue account (or identify your Fanvue handle). We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days, or as required by applicable law. We provide account-related data only — not proprietary system prompts or other creators' information.

Deletion. Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account & privacy, or email presence.fanvue@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent and removes stored messages, memories, drafts, settings, and OAuth tokens from our systems, subject to backup purge cycles and legal retention obligations.

Canadian residents may contact us with privacy questions under PIPEDA. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

10. Children

Presence is for Fanvue creators who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact presence.fanvue@gmail.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
